What's Included:

  • 1 Month of Partial Board & Training

  • 4-5 Sessions per week

  • All training horses get fed 2x Daily

  • Stalls are cleaned as needed

  • Waters are closely monitored

This is meant for babies 5 months - 1 years old, if your horse is older or younger than this but you're wanting to get them into training for basic ground work feel free to contact us about your situation and we'll get something figured out that will work for you.

You may think that 5 months old is to young to send your sweet little baby to training to learn all their basic groundwork...But! This is actually the best time to start their foundation. If you start them when they're older, you're looking at a lot bigger "baby" that has been getting away with everything they want to do and has already set some of those bad habits. Every horse that I've started their foundation training as a baby has been the easiest to start under saddle when they're older, as well as had the sweetest, loving, most well behaved mannerisms.

Your little one will learn:

  1. Leading

  2. Lunging

  3. Desensitizing

  4. Standing Tied Patiently

  5. How to pick up their feet

  6. Yielding forequarter & hindquarters

  7. Backing

  8. Trailer Loading

Pictures and videos can be sent by request, as I know sometimes we worry about our horses while they're away;)

Price: $700/month

( a $100 deposit is required to reserve your spot for training)

*Feed is not included in the price, you will be required to drop off your feed or you reimburse MGEC for food

Just like us, horses are all different and learn at different speeds so please keep this in mind and know that we will always try to do our best to accomplish all the things you're wanting your horse trained for in the time frame given. But sometimes your horse will need a little extra time to accomplish and succeed the goals you have for them. We do not rush horses, as that will usually lead to them having unsafe holes in their training.

Our goal is to do our job of training well, but to also be honest with our client

and make sure you and your horse are set up to be safe and successful!
